Jim Pearson Transport is a privately owned company that has been operating since 1978. It currently employs in excess of 250 highly trained and professional staff ranging from administration, mechanics, drivers, logistics experts, driver trainers, fatigue management educators, tyre changers, truck washers, yard workers and managerial staff, who are all necessary to make the company what it is today.

In addition to highly trained and experienced staff, Jim Pearson Transport utilizes the industries leading technologies, including specifically designed software for the company´s operations and real time satellite tracking.

The company has now expanded to 5 different locations; Sydney, Brisbane, Taree, Port Macquarie and Grafton. The Port Macquarie depot has a mechanical repair  workshop and cleaning bays. All depots have secure storage, driver change over facilities, refueling systems, weigh bridges and are strategically located within easy access to the highway.

Jim Pearson Transport now comprises of a fleet of 116 Freightliner and Mack prime movers, with an average age of less than 4 years and more than 160 trailers, comprising of drop deck mezanine and straight deck tautliners as well as refrigerated B double combinations.
